This Garlic Butter Lemon Salmon features tender, flaky salmon fillets cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce with fresh lemon, delivering a bright and savory meal perfect for any night.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place salmon fillets skin-side up in the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Flip the salmon and cook an additional 3-4 minutes, or until cooked through.
  5. Reduce heat to medium, add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, swirling to melt the butter.
  6. Stir in lemon juice and lemon zest, spooning the garlic butter sauce over the salmon.
  7. Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
