Dirt Cake

Dirt Cake is a fun and easy no-bake dessert featuring creamy layers of pudding, cream cheese, and crushed chocolate cookies, perfect for parties and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (14 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 (15 oz) package Oreo cookies, crushed
  • Gummy worms for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and butter together until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar and beat until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix pudding mix with cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  4. Combine pudding mixture with cream cheese mixture; fold in whipped topping until smooth.
  5. In a 9×13 inch dish, spread half of the cookie crumbs to form the “dirt” layer.
  6. Spread the pudding mixture evenly over the cookie layer.
  7. Top with the remaining cookie crumbs to resemble soil.
  8. Decorate with gummy worms if desired.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For extra fun, layer the dessert in individual clear cups and add gummy worms or edible flowers for decoration.
