- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 (14 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 3 1/2 cups cold milk
- 1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 (15 oz) package Oreo cookies, crushed
- Gummy worms for decoration (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and butter together until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar and beat until combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix pudding mix with cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
- Combine pudding mixture with cream cheese mixture; fold in whipped topping until smooth.
- In a 9×13 inch dish, spread half of the cookie crumbs to form the “dirt” layer.
- Spread the pudding mixture evenly over the cookie layer.
- Top with the remaining cookie crumbs to resemble soil.
- Decorate with gummy worms if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
For extra fun, layer the dessert in individual clear cups and add gummy worms or edible flowers for decoration.
