Bang Bang Salmon

Bang Bang Salmon features crispy, pan-seared salmon fillets coated in a creamy, spicy sauce, offering a flavorful twist inspired by classic bang bang dishes.

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, lime juice, and minced garlic until smooth.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Place salmon fillets skin-side down (if skin-on) and cook for 4-5 minutes until crispy.
  5. Flip salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through and flaky.
  6. Remove salmon from skillet and place on serving plates.
  7. Drizzle the bang bang sauce generously over each fillet.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Serve Bang Bang Salmon over steamed rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal. For extra crunch, add crushed nuts or fried shallots on top.
